Coherence supports dynamic subdomains inside your application. For example, to give each client of your site their own instance of your app.
In the deployed environment, Coherence will:
- automatically create a DNS record for
- provision an SSL certificate for each environment as it is deployed to match. (On GCP only, this will be a self-signed certificate and we will (email us) send you the
.crtfile to add to your devices so the certificate is trusted.)
For custom domains, you're responsible for:
- creating the
*.yourhostname.comrecord on your name server/DNS provider
- (on Google Cloud Platform only) uploading a self-managed SSL certificate for the custom domain, and giving us the name of the certificate.
You can send us this via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, please reference your app name when sending.
*.WORKSPACE-web.coherencedev.com will have a broken SSL certificate but it will route as expected to the dev services in your application.
